The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel received from the International Committee of the Red Cross the body of an Israeli prisoner.
Israeli forces carried out intense artillery bombardment and helicopter fire targeting the eastern area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has killed 68,865 people in Palestine and injured 170,670 others, the majority of whom are women and children, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reports.
