UNICEF warns Gaza has entered famine, as hunger and Israel’s controversial aid scheme leave over 1,400 Palestinians dead and tens of thousands more injured or displaced.
Abu Obeida said the Qassam Brigades would allow Red Cross aid to Israeli captives if Israel ends airstrikes and opens Gaza crossings.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 60,430 and injured 148,722 others, the majority of whom are women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation forces raided the center of the city of Dura, south of Hebron in the West Bank, on Monday.
Five New Deaths from Famine in Gaza
GAZA HEALTH MINISTRY: The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that five deaths due to famine and malnutrition were recorded in the hospitals of the Strip in the past 24 hours.
Toll Rises in Israeli Attack on Aid Seekers at Netzarim Axis
PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Sources at Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa hospitals reported that the death toll from Israeli gunfire on starving crowds near an aid control center at the so-called Netzarim axis east of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza has risen to seven killed and twenty injured.
54 Missing at US-Run Aid Control Centers
AL-JAZEERA:
The Al-Dameer Foundation documented a rise in reported missing persons at aid control centers managed by the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,” a US organization operating in the Strip.
In a statement, Al-Dameer said that 54 Palestinians remain missing around these centers, noting that Israeli forces do not permit the retrieval of the bodies of those targeted there.
Four Killed in Shejaiya
PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Palestinian media reported that four Palestinians were killed on Monday morning as a result of Israeli bombing targeting civilians in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
Aid Insufficient to Feed 1% of Gaza's Population

Mohammad Abu Afsh, Director of Medical Relief in Gaza, told Al Jazeera:
The aid entering Gaza is not enough to feed even 1% of the population. Cases of malnutrition continue to rise across the Strip.
We need safe corridors to deliver aid. Many types of food have been unavailable in Gaza for months.
Clean water supplies are insufficient for the population’s needs.
Israeli Soldier Injured at Negev Base
ISRAELI MEDIA: Israeli Channel 13 reported that an Israeli soldier suffered severe burns following a fuel leak at a military base in southern Israel.
Second Palestinian Killed in Qabatiya
AL-JAZEERA: Sources told Al Jazeera that the body of a second Palestinian martyr was found in the area besieged by Israeli forces in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank. Palestinian media had earlier confirmed the martyrdom of Yousef al-Amer and the seizure of his body by Israeli forces during an operation in the area.
