Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir reportedly approved plans to occupy Gaza City as the Israeli army decided to bring forward the call-up of 50,000 reserve soldiers.
Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza continue to document their destruction of Israeli military vehicles, while Egyptian sources deny Israeli media claims of a proposal to disarm Hamas.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 62,064 and injured 156,573 others, the majority of whom are women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Three Israeli Soldiers Wounded in Rafah Incident
ISRAELI MEDIA:
Israeli media confirmed that three wounded soldiers were transferred to hospitals following what was described as a security incident in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
Channel 14 reported that “gunmen” attempted to storm a military site in southern Gaza, and the soldiers responded by opening fire.
Israel Hayom added that clashes erupted after “more than 10 gunmen attacked a military site in southern Gaza.”
Hamas Fighters Attack Kfir Brigade Post in Rafah
ISRAELI MEDIA: Israeli media reported that “Hamas gunmen” attacked a Kfir Brigade post in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, noting that army helicopters evacuated the wounded, without providing further details.
Palestinian Death Toll Rises to 35 Since Dawn
PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Hospital sources in Gaza confirmed that the death toll since dawn today from Israeli fire in various parts of the Strip has risen to 35, including 10 people who were waiting for humanitarian aid in central and southern Gaza.
